England will take to the hallowed Anfield turf this week.

And with their other two Tests against New Zealand taking place in Yorkshire – starting with last Saturday’s opener at Hull – the second Test on Sunday, November 4 is likely to be popular for fans from the north west.

The RFL is selling the match to sports-lovers as a chance to enjoy the roar of the Kop, the history and electric atmosphere of the ground – as well a chance to enjoy a beer in their seat.

A crowd of more than 40,000 watched Australia beat the Kiwis 34-8 in the Four Nations final at Liverpool’s ground two years ago, although RFL chief executive Ralph Rimmer said he was predicting a gate of around 25,000 this weekend.

Tickets are on sale from £25 for adults, either by visiting the website www.rugby-league.com or calling the ticket hotline 0844 856 1113.

But members of ‘Our League’ save £5 on tickets, meaning they could watch the action from as little as £20 for adults and £7.50 concessions.

Download the ‘Our League’ app for mobiles and sign up, or join via the website to take advantage of the discount.
