DAN Sarginson says he is nowhere near the finished article – and is “excited” about how much more progress he can make at Wigan.
The centre improved out of sight last season, first earning a place in the Wigan side and going onto crack the England team.
He earned widespread praise for his performances on the Test stage against Australia and New Zealand.
Still 21, the Londoner has “ripped in” to training and says there is no dangers of complacency creeping in – especially as he feels he has much more to give.
He said: “The goal for me now is to solidify my place in the Wigan team, which is a constant challenge here – it’s not like I’ve reached where I want to be yet.
“I wasn’t the best technically and physically in defence, and that came on leaps and bounds last season, and I still have room to improve.
“I have room for improvement everywhere – and that’s exciting. I’m just looking to keep ripping in and improve.”
