DAN Sarginson may be an England international but he admits he is still learning the craft of being a centre.
The 22-year-old was a utility back at former club London before taking the centre role when he arrived at the Warriors ahead of the 2014 season – which finished with him facing Australia and New Zealand.
“I still don’t think I know everything to be a centre,” admitted Sarginson, who is back in full training after recovering from a leg injury which cut short last season.
“I’ve only played there properly for two years and there are still bits I get pulled on.
“I even ask the other centres here, ‘What would you do in this position?’ I’m still learning every day.”
Meanwhile, coach Shaun Wane has reiterated he has no intention to appoint an additional assistant coach.
Wane never replaced Paul Deacon when he quit last summer to move to Sale RU.
“I’m very happy with what I’ve got,” said Wane, who has John Winder as his lead assistant and Mark Bitcon and Paul Johnson on his staff.
