WIGAN rugby fans have this morning been queuing around the DW Stadium for Challenge Cup final tickets.

Following yesterday’s 70-0 semi-final thrashing of London, the club has received an initial allocation of 10,000 tickets for the Wembley showpiece on Saturday, August 24.

They went on sale this morning to shareholders, seasonal members and lottery agents. Internet sales are set to start at 11am but phone orders will only be taken from tomorrow.

Other club members will be able to get their hands on tickets from Tuesday before they go on general sale on Monday, August 5.

Tickets are priced as follows:

West Stand: £41, £31, £26, £21 (no concessions)

South Stand: £76, £61, £51, £31, £26 (no concessions)

North Stand: £61, £31, £26, £21 (no concessions)

Tickets will be sold on a first come, first served basis while stocks last with 2013 seasonal members, shareholders and lottery agents entitled to purchase two per season ticket.
