WARRIORS coach Shaun Wane has promised a different team on Friday than Wigan fans saw beat Hull KR 21-16 last week.

Looking to the top of the table clash at the DW Stadium against Huddersfield Giants Wane said: “Huddersfield have been very, very good this year and we will need to be a lot batter than we were against Hull KR.

“We will be a different team, I can assure you.”

Despite the distraction of the Challenge Cup Final this month, Wane insists no league game will be sacrificed ahead of the Wembley trip.

“I want to win every game and win every trophy like every Super League coach,” he said.

“There isn’t a coach who doesn’t want to win everything and I think if we keep chalking these games off like we are doing then we are giving ourselves a chance.

“We are in control – we are grinding games out, not at our best but are still doing enough to win games.

“That’s a real positive this year, there are times in the past when we have not played well and lost a game but we are a lot

mentally tougher this year.”
