Sean O’Loughlin and George Williams are on course to play at the Magic Weekend – but Thomas Leuluai will have to wait to make his return to action.
Shaun Wane says Kiwi halfback Leuluai may face St Helens next Thursday after recovering from a broken jaw.
He had hoped he may be fit to face Warrington this Saturday at Newcastle, but has left the influential play-maker out of his 19-man squad.
Williams retains his place in last week’s panel – he withdrew from the Swinton-Cup game with a migraine – and O’Loughlin returns after missing the last two games.
Wane may opt with Josh Woods at halfback – he debuted against Salford two weeks ago – or partner Williams with either Nick Gregson or Sean O’Loughlin.
Wigan’s 19-man squad: Joe Burgess, Tom Davies, Liam Farrell, Callum Field, Liam Forsyth, Nick Gregson, Willie Isa, Liam Marshall, Michael Mcilorum, Romain Navarrete, Frank-Paul Nuuausala, Sean O’Loughlin, Ryan Sutton, Taulima Tautai, Lewis Tierney, Joel Tomkins, Jack Wells, George Williams & Josh Woods
