SHAUN Wane will be using Warriors’ mission to reclaim top spot in Super League as preparation for the Challenge Cup Final.

The Wigan boss has named 18-year-old Joe Burgess in the squad to face Hull KR on Friday in place of Pat Richards, meaning the youngster could be in line for a first-team debut.

Epalahame Lauaki is also included but Gil Dudson and Liam Farrell miss out.

“It all starts here and there are certain things I am concentrating on before the Hull KR game and we will be drip-feeding the players with the information that is going to be important at Wembley over the next few weeks,” said Wane.

Ben Flower missed training on Tuesday but has been named.

Meanwhile, Sam Tomkins has spoken on the speculation surrounding his future.

Tomkins told Sky Sports News: “I am aware of rumours but hand on heart I have not signed any contracts yet.”
