Wigan's versatile John Bateman has been named on this year's Man of Steel shortlist.
Bateman, 24, join Wigan at the end of 2013 from hometown club Bradford.
During his time with the club, he has become an England international and he has played a starring role for the Warriors this year - mainly as a forward but also covering at centre.
He announced mid-season he will be leaving to join NRL club Canberra Raiders for 2019. The Australian club paid a "significant" transfer fee to buy-out the final year of his Wigan deal.
The other contenders are Saints duo Ben Barba and James Roby.
Bateman said: "It would be fantastic for what Wigan have done for me. They've looked after me and it shows how I've come on leaps and bounds at this club.
"Not just on the field, but off the field as well. Just ask my mum, she'd be the first person to say that I've grown up a lot here and this would be the dream end for me."
