Country musician starts new year with latest single
The song had its origins in one of Gary’s trips to the homeland of country music, Nashville in Tennessee, and is a co-write between him, Kyle Schlienger and major song-writing competition winner John Gurney.
Nobody Somebody is also the start of an exciting project for Gary’s fans which will see them able to get their hands on three new singles in the first few months of 2021.

“John and Kyle were both excited when I brought the idea of Nobody Somebody to the table. It was a great writing session to be involved with.”
To ensure the new single has a contemporary sound Gary travelled to Scandinavia to work with Swedish producer Richard Alex, having collaborated earlier in 2020 on Tip of My Tongue.
Gary said: “I’m really excited about Nobody Somebody and delighted that Richard agreed to get on board again.

Gary will be hoping teaming up with Richard will prove as successful as his collaboration with Swedish singer Sophie Hanson on a cover of the classic Christmas song O Holy Night.
The three-single project will get 2021 under way for Gary after a year in which much of the musical and creative industries came to a near-total halt.
However, despite the Covid-19 pandemic, the six-time British Country Music Awards winner still got plenty done in 2020, with a fruitful five-week song writing visit to Nashville followed by an appearance at Country 2 Country Berlin in March.

Nobody Somebody is now available for pre-order and anyone who does put their name down will receive a video link to a live acoustic version of the single.
