It’s 20 years since a TV-made pop group featuring a Wigan singer, Kym Marsh from Ashton-in-Makerfield, had their first number one hit.
The group Hear’Say were created through the ITV reality TV show Popstars in 2001, the first UK series of the international Popstars franchise.
