WIGAN rapper, A Me B will release her long awaited debut single next week.
Outcast is the exciting and long awaited debut track from Amy Burns, also known as A Me B.
At just 18, Wigan’s A Me B has already supported Major artists such as Tinchy Stryder, DJ Ironik and Akala, and recently performed at Abbey Road Studio’s in front of a hugely impressed Tom Robinson as part of the BBC Masterclass in London.
Tipped by BBC Introducing as one to watch for 2011, A Me B has shared the stage with established and emerging UK artists at festivals all across the North West.
Outcast which was recorded at Wigan’s Incentiv Studios, is already receiving positive feedback, generating support from BBC Manchester Music, BBC Introducing in Manchester and Rinse FM as the teenager continues to rise in her quest to dominate the music charts.
A Me B’s single which is released on November 15, clearly shows her fresh urban talent.
Incorporating deftly delivered rhymes and catchy hooks for a commercial, but hard-hitting sound, A Me B’s act is hard to resist.
The official launch for Outcast was on Thursday at Manchester’s Dry Bar.
Not one to lead a quiet life, while juggling her college studies and writing new material, A Me B has been confirmed as a guest to switch on the Christmas lights at St Helens on November 19.
She has also been confirmed as a main judge for Lancashire Boys and Girls Club’s Got Talent gig night at Thwaites Blackburn Theatre on November, 17.
She will also perform her new single at the event and will appear as special support for Chipmunk and Mavado at Manchester’s Academy in December Outcast will be available to download from Itunes from Monday.
