Parbold’s Lanky Night for Belarus

A CHARITY fighting to help the stricken people of Chernobyl are staging a Lancashire Night in Parbold next month.

The event, at the Village Hall on Saturday March 10, and on the 25th anniversary of the nuclear power station disaster, is a fund raiser towards the ‘Disabled Children Mini Bus Appeal’.

Artists giving their services include musician and singer Mark Dowding, Lank dialect poet and performed Sid Calderbank and melodeon performers Peter and Barbara Snape.

Tickckets are priced at £9 including hot pot supper - bar applied for - and are available from Maggi Huyton (01257 464215) and Sue Halton (01257 463703). Proceeds to Belarus Aid’s the Rogachev Families Association Mini Bus Appeal.
