PICTURES: Take a final look inside Wigan Galleries as demolition gets under way

Developers have been given the green light to begin the demolition work on the Galleries shopping centre in preparation for the £130m redevelopment.

Here are some pictures to take a look at what will be demolished; an attractive shopping centre which was opened by Princess Diana 30 years ago.
