The housebuilder’s donation was put towards the top raffle prize, a Lenovo Tab M9 64gb tablet. In total, over £2,000 was raised from the night which will be put towards improving the facilities and equipment for the club’s cricket players, from the ages of 5 to 64. As well as improving the facilities available to players, the funds raised will also ensure that the sport is available and affordable for all in the area.

Graham Marston, Vice Chairman at Golborne Cricket Club, said: “The event went really well and around 100 people attended. This dinner wasn’t just held to raise money for our facilities, but for a chance to host a social event to enjoy before this year’s cricket season begins. The speaker and comedian were well received and everyone had a great night. The cricket club would like to thank Taylor Wimpey for its generous donation towards our raffle prizes.”
