The Wigan community was abuzz last week as local legends, Jake and Tom from Stanleys, helped officially launch The Brick’s new charity shop located in The Old Courts. In a first-of-its-kind event, the indie rock duo performed in a setting like no other - a charity shop packed with vintage finds, artwork, and plenty of Wigan soul.

The atmosphere was filled with excitement and local pride as Jake and Tom kickstarted a new chapter for The Brick’s retail stores.

The new shop is not just a place to shop; it’s a destination -a carefully curated collection of preloved, retro, and vintage pieces, from clothes to furniture to curiosities. The Brick is also proud to showcase beautiful artwork from Wigan-based artists and handcrafted fabric pieces from ReMade Wigan.

Every penny spent in the shop goes right back into supporting The Brick and its grassroots partners.

“Wigan, we are continually humbled by your support for our charity that just keeps growing,” shared Gordon MacDonald, Re-Use Manager at The Brick. “What a special place we live, work, and belong to. The opening of our new shop is a testament to the incredible sense of community we have here in Wigan.”
