Our latest retro tour of Wigan borough primary schools takes us to Gilded Hollins in Leigh.

The images date from 1997 to 2013 and while most are of happy children, events and achievements, they do also record two distressing fires to have hit the school (in 2001 and 2015) and a successful campaign to prevent its being closed down.
