DAY FOUR: Borough teacher discusses working life under Covid-19

Leigh-based science teacher, Addison Brown, who featured in a national Get Into Teaching TV advert which aired on TV back in January, gives us a day-by-day glimpse of what life as a teacher has been like so far during these unusual times.

Today, in his fourth clip, Bedford High School secondary school teacher Addison talks about doing his first teaching shift in a while and how his partner Rachel was doing a 7am to 7pm shift at the walk-in centre.

Addison also discusses about how he's grateful to do a job that he "loves doing" and a career that he "really wants to do." He said he had missed talking to the children and interacting and said that it made it more difficult in the situation he is in .

The 27-year-old, who recently became a father for the first time, has released five clips discussing what is on his mind that particular weekday.

The videos mark Thank A Teacher Day, which was on Wednesday (May 20) - the national campaign aimed at encouraging people across the country to consider teaching as a career.
