No fewer than 29 nostalgic pictures taken at Wigan schools in 2005

Wigan Observer photographers have probably visited schools more than any other locations over the years for picture opportunities.

This gallery dates from assignments 21 years ago in 2005 and includes charity events and sporting success celebrations.

We hope that many happy memories are revived.

Wigan Warriors players Darrell Goulding and Chris Melling teamed up with Mark Smith, Paula Matthew and other members of staff at Tesco Hindley, along with pupils from Hindley Community High School and Body Image Gym, Hindley Green, to launch the Tesco Sport for Schools and Clubs scheme.
