PICTURE SPECIAL: Wigan primary school's rocket launch project

Year Five pupils at Our Lady's RC Primary School, Aspull, have been investigating space rocket technology, engineering and life in space as part of a science project. Working with Neil West, education liaison of FAWNS (Forum of Aspull, Whelley and New Springs), local councillor Ron Conway was invited to watch them launch the rockets they have made, with the hope Wigan Council will invest in their ideas for Aspull Space Programme!
