Data shows how many people 70 and over in Wigan have had first vaccine dose

Provisional NHS England data suggests that 96.6 per cent of the borough's 43,770 over-70s had received their initial dose of a vaccine by February 14.

There are 135 CCGs in England, and they commission most of the hospital and community NHS services in the local areas for which they are responsible.

The JPIMedia Data Unit has also shared the latest figures giving the regional picture.

As of February 14 a total of 629,148 first doses had been given out in Greater Manchester.

Of those, 108,624 were given to residents aged 80 or over, which means that 92 per cent of that priority cohort have been given a first dose.

In addition, 25,097 second doses have been given out, with 15,393 people aged 80 and over in the city-region having received both jabs.

That means 13 per cent of Greater Manchester's residents aged 80 or over had received two vaccination doses.
