It’s been a tremendous few weeks for Wigan’s hospitals as they celebrated a clutch of special anniversaries. Of course all the staff joined in the recent partying for the 75th birthday of the NHS but is has also been the 150th anniversary of Wigan Infirmary, the 90th of Wrightington Hospital and 50th of local hospital radio.
