The cafe has been running for just under a year at Belong Wigan, Platt Bridge. Anyone living locally and has a family member or friend with dementia can pop in and speak to a nurse who can provide advice and signpost to support services that can help them, whilst their loved one enjoys a bit of respite care with a free activity. It is open to all Wiganers, not just residents of the village.
