More than a century of pictures from Abbey Lakes, Orrell

Abbey Lakes is a small area of Orrell on the Wigan and West Lancashire border. At its centre is a one-time hotel (now restaurant) and, of course, a lake popular with anglers and walkers. This gallery of pictures, some dating back a century or more, shows various aspects of these landmarks and their surrounding homes and businesses.
