RETRO: pictures from the Wigan archives of Frog Lane people, places and events

The wonderfully (if inexplicably) named Frog Lane has attracted Wigan’s photographers plenty of times over the years.

Here is a collection of pictures dating back many decades and including local landmarks and people, some no longer with us. Of course the Deanery High, pubs and even the old tip make an appearance.
