Village memories: pictures of former Standish landmarks on Almond Brook Road, School Lane, Market Street and Rectory Lane

The A5209: it’s the road that cuts through Standish from East to West, changing its name from Rectory Lane to Market Street, School Lane and Almond Brook Road as it proceeds.

Here are a few vintage pictures of landmarks, most of which have now gone or been drastically altered (with the exception of the grade I parish church) along that well-known route.
