Licensees Ronnie and Jean Baxendale at the Foresters Arms, Shevington Moor, after the pub was featured in Egon Ronay's best pub food guide book on Monday 26th of March 1984.

Former Wigan Rugby League great, Ken Gee, pulls his last pint with wife, Margaret, as he retires as landlord of the Railway Hotel in Pemberton on Tuesday 15th of January 1974.
