RETRO: Wigan walking days in 1986

We are taking a trip back to 1986, when our photographers captures a variety of walking days in and around Wigan. The walking day is an annual event for members of the church and communities in towns and villages to come together.

They are fewer and further between these days and tend to be more modest affairs, at least in part due to problems involved with securing road closures and stewarding.
