SCHOOL MEMORIES: 49 St Thomas More RC High pictures 1963-2008

St Thomas More RC High School in Newtown closed in 2007 and it is only now physically remembered by the name of the housing estate which was built on its site.

Happily though Wigan Today has plenty of pictorial reminders of pupils, staff, visitors and events there over the decades, going back to the early 1960s through to its final days and after.
