Summery pictures of Mesnes Park taken for the Wigan Observer over the years

Many will be hoping that the hot weather of recent days isn’t all we’ll get of summer. In the meantime though, here are some pictures taken over a number of decades for the Wigan Observer of folk having fun and soaking up the rays at Mesnes Park

All the colour pictures date from 2008 and 2009, the black and white ones from the 1960s to the ’80s.
