Congratulations Carley!

The couple, who starred in the Channel Four soap at different times, have been dating for five years.

Danny played Dodger Savage, whilst Carley portrayed Steph Cunningham in the serial drama.

Carley, who grew up in Billinge, announced the good news with a bride emoji on Twitter.

Fans and pals took to social media to express their joy.

Since leaving the soap the pair have starred together in soap spoof British Andy alongside Michael Greco and Emma Rigby.

Carley’s currently appearing in stage show Dirty Rotten Scroundrels.

She is also to appear at a Vintage and Vegan Spring Fair at St Helens Town Hall on April 2.

The fair, hosted by Phoenix Apparel will host a variety of stalls selling ethically made food and clothing and includes children’s activities.
