The restaurant has recently appointed a new chef and kitchen team at the popular Pesto at the Dicconson arms and are looking forward to a new menu and a busy summer.

The addition of smart new marble tables and huge outside mural, part of the recent face-lift at the restaurant, have been well received by guests who are loving the new décor and feel.

A local artist produced the eye-catching image of Pisa’s famous leaning tower and the artwork has become quite a talking point locally according to general manager Natelle Scott.

“It’s great to see people’s reaction to the mural when arriving at the restaurant. People are also stopping and getting photos by our wonderful tower,” Natelle said.

The restaurant has also recently launched a competition online to win a huge prize. Customers who share their snaps by the mural online could be in with the chance of winning a £150 gift card, which equates to a whole lot of Italian small plates. To enter, head to their social channels to find out more.

55 dishes to choose from

Owned by local entrepreneurs Neil and Sara Gatt, one thing that hasn’t changed at The Dicconson Arms is its extensive menu of mouth-watering small plates – or piatinni as they’re known in Italy. With 55 different dishes to choose from people can pick their own favourites or mix and match with friends and family to recreate a bit of la dolce vita and indulge in the social enjoyment of Italian cuisine.

New Menu

This month the restaurant is set to launch a new menu with some new tasty additions to the extensive range. With around six mouthwatering new dishes being added to the menu and the return of some old customer favourites, you will be spoilt for choice this spring!

“You spoke and we listened,” said Head of Marketing James Lavin. “Customers are always sending in website submissions and social media messages letting us know they miss their favourite dishes and we should bring them back. That’s why this spring we’ve brought back some of our customer favourites alongside some great new dishes!”

The new menu will be available from Monday 27th March. You can book your table by visiting the website at www.pestorestaurants.co.uk/book-online-dicconson-arms/.

Mother’s Day Event

Pesto will be joined by local florist ‘Appley Blossom’ on Thursday March 16 where they will be hosting a special Mother’s Day floral arranging class. Guests will get to arrange their own beautiful jar arrangement to take away, while sipping on a glass of prosecco. So grab your loved ones and book a spot today as places are limited and will go quickly. Tickets are £26.95 per person and include a glass of Prosecco on arrival and your own floral arrangement to take away.

It’s the perfect treat this Mother’s Day, so book your spot today by calling the restaurant.

Save money this spring

Those looking for a low-cost dinner can take advantage of the daytime menu offer, which includes three small plates from £9.99 from 12 noon until 7pm Monday to Friday and between 12 and 4pm on Saturdays and Sundays.

Of course, no good meal is complete without an accompanying drink and there’s a well-stocked bar to complement the food. The building used for the bar side of the business might date back to the 1800s but its offerings are firmly in the present day with a tempting selection of wines, beers, cocktails and non-alcoholic drinks available.
