You might be forgiven for not expecting too much from a training course that costs considerably less than the price of a coffee shop sandwich or cuppa.

But you could also be in for a pleasant surprise and find a lot to get your teeth into at an all-day event that you can attend for only £1.

The economical ticket price is an ongoing offer from millionaire businessman Samuel Leeds for entry to the crash courses he often presents during short UK tours.

Property Investors Training Academy

The West Midlands-born businessman has thrived on property investments and says he wants to help others do the same.

He runs a well-subscribed training academy, alongside other business interests, and says numerous students have gone on to achieve success after adopting his well-used techniques.

Samuel himself once paid a sizeable sum for one-to-one mentoring with Lord Alan Sugar but his own introductory courses are designed to be open to all. The sessions suit newcomers or seasoned investors as well as anyone at some stage in between.

Chance to find out more

According to Samuel, the events are often a springboard for people to take additional training after liking what they see and hear.

Even if you're simply curious to know if you might make a living from bricks and mortar, the property guru says you can't afford to miss the chance to find out.

Seizing opportunities is a philosophy that seems to have served Samuel well after he took his first steps into the property investment world while he was still only a teenager.

From plastering to property

Having left school with three GCSEs, no plans to stay on and few obvious prospects, he decided to take a practical route and trained as a plasterer.

The job took him from house to house and he began to realise that some of them were being improved for rental or sale – essentially to make a profit or income.

Around the same time, his stepfather had become mortgage-free and started to invest in property. Samuel’s interest grew and he set out to learn as much as he could about the ins and and outs of finance.

A business qualification followed, along with endless book-reading and regular networking until the novice investor made his first move and negotiated a favourable deal to buy his first house.

Author and content creator

More property deals ensued and he eventually set up a company, aptly-named Buy Low, Rent High Ltd, and moved from his home-based office to commercial premises.

The rest, as they say, is history. Samuel is now a multi-millionaire who runs several businesses and has property interests both here and abroad.

He writes books, has a busy YouTube channel and takes great pleasure from ploughing some of his profits into charitable causes close to his heart in Africa.

Meanwhile he delivers training nationwide including crash courses which cover a raft of business essentials based on his 15 years of experience.

Investment strategies

Among other topics the informative sessions include Samuel’s personal approach to investment strategies such as rent-to-rent and deal-sourcing.

The first one involves renting accommodation from a landlord and then letting it at a higher rate, usually to several tenants at once to maximise profits.

Attendees will hear about the principles of HMOs (houses in multiple occupation), the laws around them, how to choose investment properties and tips for working with landlords and agents.

The second strategy covers everything from raising finance and picking properties to savvy sales pitches and maximising returns on investment.

Specifically, people opting for that course will learn tactics to give them the confidence to talk to investors and estate agents to get them on side, the art of branding and branding and how to comply with relevant laws and other requirements.

You can attend the latest Property Investors deal-sourcing crash course in Bradford next month when Samuel visits the city for one day only on Friday, December 8. It takes place at Cedar Court, Rooley Lane, BD5 8HW.

Tickets can be booked online for £1 each (although late cancellation/no show fees apply).
