Never gonna give the EU up
Belgian ex-pat Mario Van Poppel is so determined for the UK to remain in the EU, he has bought the domains voteleave.co.uk, voteleave.org, voteleave.com and voteleave.net, where instead of inspiring words about the UK’s bright future away from Brussels, people will see Rick Astley’s famous Never Gonna Give You Up on YouTube.
Van Poppel claims that 50,000 people were redirected in the first three days.

Rickroll was also used by hackers claiming affiliation with the hacktivist group Anonymous as it defaced the homepage of Canadian gold mining company BCGold Corp with the infamous tune.
The Rickroll, an internet slang term for tricking someone into watching the former Newton-le-Willow singer’s video, is a classic online prank.
Meanwhile, Rick will perform at Maggie’s on the Runway which will see dozens of models living with or affected by cancer strut their stuff on the catwalk to celebrate the opening of the new Maggie’s Centre at The Christie.
The event on June 11 will take place at Manchester Airport’s Runway Visitor Centre and consist of a fashion show during the day followed by a gala ball.
Rick’s new single, Keep Singing, is out now.
