Bikers hunted over '˜targeted' arson
Police are investigating a suspected arson at a house near Billinge.
Two men on a white scrambler bike were seen throwing a petrol bomb at the house on Woodlands Road, Haresfinch, in the early hours of Thursday.
The fire had been put out by the time the emergency services arrived at around 1.45am. A police spokesman said: “The incident is being treated as a deliberate and targeted attack and an investigation by St Helens CID has been launched.”
