Could husky dog wandering Wigan's streets be your missing pet?

A concerned Wigan resident fears someone’s lost pet dog might be wandering the streets.

Wigan Today reader Nathan Cocklin took this picture on Ince Green Lane, Ince, at 7am on Thursday May 12 on his way into work and noticed the husky, which he had never seen before, had no collar or harness.

The RSPCA does not have the resources to collect healthy strays and directs people to council dog wardens.

Strays can be reported to Wigan Council between 8am and 3pm, Monday to Friday, on 01942 404364.
