A Wigan borough drug dealer who drove dangerously is back behind bars.

Robbie Arnold, 25, of Suffolk Grove, Leigh, had previously appeared before city magistrates to admit dangerously driving an Audi TT on Heathfield Drive and Sycamore Drive, Tyldesley, on July 30 and doing so without a licence or insurance.

He was sent to Bolton Crown Court for sentencing where, as well as the 12 months in custody, he was banned from driving for four and a half years.

In December 2022 the same court gave Arnold a total jail sentence of five years for possessing an imitation firearm, the production/supply of class A substances, and the supply of class B drugs.

He was prosecuted during a complex investigation into the death from a knife wound of Leigh grandmother Debbie Twist in 2019.
