Men accused of carrying out violent attacks and possessing knuckle duster in Wigan

A Wigan man is charged with two violent attacks and possessing a knuckle duster.

Two men have appeared in court charged with carrying out violent attacks more than two years ago.

Bradley Hock, 33, of Acton Street, Wigan, and Stephen Wadsley, 32, of Knowsley Road, St Helens, are accused of maliciously wounding a man with intent to cause him grievous bodily harm and assaulting another man, causing actual bodily harm.

They are also both charged with possessing an offensive weapon - a knuckle duster - in a public place.

The offences are alleged to have taken place in Wigan on April 19, 2024.

Borough magistrates sent the case to Liverpool Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on September 18.

They were remanded on conditional bail until then.
