A young man has been accused of a vicious attack.

Daniel Wilde, 22, of Gadfield Court, Atherton, appeared before Wigan justices charged with intending to cause Christopher Downham GBH in August 2018. Due to the seriousness of the case the bench sent it to Bolton Crown Court. Wilde was bailed to appear there on November 18.
