Officers from GMP's Serious Collisions Investigation Unit (SCIU) were on patrol when a Mini pulled out in front of them without looking. Officers noted the car was being driven erratically.

The car was stopped by the officers, who quickly established that the driver only held a provisional licence. They also did not have insurance for the car.
