Crown court date for Wigan man accused of strangling woman and making threats to kill her

A Wigan man is charged with strangling a woman and making threats to kill her and burn down her house.
Keith McCracken, 34, of Golborne Place, Scholes, is alleged to have carried out the offences on August 25.
He will appear at Liverpool Crown Court for a plea and trial preparation hearing on September 25.
He was remanded in custody until then.
