Her friend Nikki Ashcroft set up a fund-raising page to help bring in the money for a replacement chair for Dylan, who is seven and has a rare genetic condition called 1Q21.1 micro duplication.
Due to the chair now being found the fund-raising campaign has been suspended.
However, the Ford Edge remains missing.
GMP Wigan West also put on a post on Facebook appealing for information about the crime.

Nikki had described how being without the wheelchair had left Laura unable to even go for a walk with Dylan.
Laura also spoke of the toll the incident has taken on social media.
She said: "A few weeks after Christmas this is not what I need. This has left us housebound and vulnerable and to some extent scared.
“This is not a victimless crime and it’s not OK."
