Jaguar driver caught speeding at nearly 100mph on M6 near Wigan

A motorist was caught speeding at nearly 100mph in a Jaguar on the M6 near to Wigan.

The driver was clocked at 98mph when police stopped their black Jaguar XJ vehicle between junction 25 (Wigan) and junction 24 (Ashton) of the motorway this morning (February 16).

Officers issued the motorist with a Traffic Offence Report (TOR).

Police then took to Twitter to share a photo of their capture.
