Knife charges against Wigan teen dropped

Charges against a 15-year-old boy accused of possessing a knife in public have been dropped.

The youngster was said to have been caught with a Karambit knife on Roby Well Way, Billinge, on Monday October 30 last year.

He had earlier been granted unconditional bail by Liverpool Youth Court.

However, a spokesman for Liverpool Youth Court confirmed the charge had now been withdrawn.
