Man arrested after HGVs stolen from Wigan
Traffic officers have arrested a man after tailing two trucks that were stolen from Wigan.
Two heavy goods vehicles (HGV), were tracked onto the M6 motorway after being reported stolen from Wigan.
Officers from GMP's Tactical Vehicle Interception Unit (TVIU) spotted the stolen vehicles while on patrol, and followed them into Warrington, with support from Cheshire Police Road Crimes Unit and Merseyside Police traffic officers.
Both trucks were found in the area and one male was arrested, the force said.
The police did not confirm when the incident took place.
