Man breached court order by approaching and threatening woman

A family court ruling decreed that 36-year-old Causby, of Blenheim Road, Leigh, have no contact with Rebecca Shone.

But appearing in the dock at Wigan and Leigh Magistrates’ Court, he pleaded guilty to harassing her in Tyldesley between October 23 and 29 last year and also to menacing her in Leigh on January 22.

Causby was remanded on bail, conditional that he steers clear of Ms Shone and not enter a particular address in Cumberland Avenue in Tyldesley where she lives.

The case was adjourned for reports until sentencing at the same court on Wednesday April 14.
