Philip Grice appeared before Wigan magistrates accused of assaulting Curstie Johnson and Daniel Groves while a passenger himself.
The 30-year-old from Coronation Drive, Haydock, also pleaded not guilty to trespassing on the tracks at Earlestown railway station.
The bench adjourned the case until a trial on August 25.
