A man has denied possessing a range of psychoactive substances at a shop.

Ian Hogg, 48, of North Lane, Astley, appeared before a Bolton Crown Court judge on 10 charges of having drugs including cannabis, spice, amphetamine and diazepam at The Emporium on Union Street, Leigh. He is also accused of producing cannabis. Because of the court system backlog caused by the Covid pandemic, his trial date was set for November 30 2021 and he was bailed until then.
