Man from the borough arrested in Manchester murder investigation

The 30-year-old from the Tyldesley area is the fourth person to be detained by the police in connection with the killing of David Allan from Wythenshawe.

Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said the man was arrested and taken into custody for questioning on Saturday night.

A 33-year-old man arrested on Friday was also in custody at the weekend.

A man aged 39 and a 42-year-old woman, who were arrested on Thursday, have since been released under investigation.

Mr Allan, who was 23, died following an assault in Wythenshawe.
