Man is jailed for threats to his ex

Stefan Hart, 22, of Rugby Road, Leigh, had initially denied causing Bethany Shovelton fear she would be attacked but then changed his plea to guilty.

Wigan justices ruled that because the threats were deliberate and persistent over a long time in a domestic setting then a jail term was appropriate. A restraining order was also issued.
