Man jailed over lewd act in Wigan

A man has been jailed for performing a lewd act in public.

Craig Dean had denied the crime but the 32-year-old, of no fixed address, was found guilty of the offence after a trial by Wigan magistrates.

They imposed a 12-week prison term, saying that the crime in Wigan was aggravated by his record, and also ordered that he pay a £128 victim surcharge.
